What are Archetypes?
Archetypes are stories that help us to see and understand our world.
As humans, we are wired to connect through storytelling. All stories are built on archetypes. They are patterns and human relationships that we relate to on a deep emotional level. Archetypes are our ancestral knowing passed down as stories.
What is Human Design?
Human Design is a blend of ancient wisdom and modern Astrology that incorporates Astrology, The Chakras System, The Gene Keys, and The I Ching.
Have you ever wished there was a guidebook that explained you? Who are you? Why are you here? And your shortest path to success? Human Design gives us incredibly accurate information about the one thing we often find the most difficult to understand, ourselves!
Human Design is a robust and often complex system that takes time and commitment to master, but don't let that stop you from exploring the basics.
In this article, rather than share about the entire Human Design system, which can be a serious information overload, we will focus on the Five Energy Achytimes and understand your archetype key to understanding your Human Design. I feel understanding your Human Design Archetype is the fastest, most impactful way to begin learning about the system as a whole. If you start applying what you learn here today, it just might change your life.
What are the five Energy Archetypes in Human Design?
And each of these Energy Archetypes will have it's own unique struggles and challenges in life as well as shortcuts to the greatest amount of fulfillment and success.
The Five Types in Human Design are the Manifestor, the Pure Generator, the Manifestor Generator, the Projector, and the Reflector.
Why it matters to you?
The first thing you learn about in Human Design is your Type. If you have ever looked up your Human Design chart, at the top of your chart, it will usually list your Type as well as your strategy. Your Type will be either Manifestor, Pure Generator, Manifestor Generator, Projector, or Reflector.

Are you are Manifestor?
All Manifestors have a differed throat chakra. You can speak your desires into being. If you can speak it, you have the power to create it! Your success as a Manifestor comes from deciding what you want and then taking action to achieve your goals. The idea of bootstrapping our way to success was made for you. If you wait for success to find you, it will not come to you. You must go out and make it happen.
You ignite action in others. You are born to lead a team that is inspired by you. You come into your full power by leading your community and becoming a fully sovereign being. In your work, you are excellent at leading a team rather than following someone else's rules or feeling like you need to do everything by yourself.
Manifestors have incredible power and speed, but unlike Pure Generators, who can generate almost unlimited energy, Manifestors do not have boundless energy. So you need to be protective of your energy and avoid overworking or endless socializing.
An affirmation for Manifestors is:
No one else has control over me. I take full ownership of my power.

Are you a Pure Generator?

I cannot say this enough; if you are a Pure Generator, follow your inner guidance, above all else. You are the lovers, creators, and master builders of this world. Your satisfaction and success come from building something, be it a business, a new skill, or a relationship, steadily over time.
Growing what you Love.
Slow down and take your time when committing to a new project, person, or any new adventure. Take your time to feel into and ask yourself, is this a say yes or no for me. Use your decrement and only say yes to those opportunities that genuinely excite you! It is not your job to make anything happen unless you feel a firm inner, yes! Your biggest challenge is often feeling worthy of the Love and success your heart is desiring. For you, self-worth is not about working harder or even knowing more. Your sense of satisfaction in life comes from listening to your inner yes and being guided by it to create whatever you love that truly excites you. When you cultivate healthy boundaries and only say yes to what you love, you start to become the most radiant version of yourself. You become incredibly magnetic to those around you. Your greatest strengths are expansive energy and your open and loving nature.
When you in your power, you hold firm, energetic boundaries around your valuable recourses of time, money, and energy, and you quickly grow to be an unstoppable force of positivity in the world. You step into your full power by saying yes from your place of creative excitement. In doing so, you empower others around you to be deeply authentic. You do not have to put out every fire that's happening near you, you are here to be Love not to work harder at things that drain your joy.

Embrace your speed and multi-passionate nature.
Element Fire + Air
Are you are Manifesting Generator?
Your greatest strengths are in your stillness and cultivating your connection to your intuition. You also have the power to ignite action from others who are inspired by your self-mastery and multi-passionate genius! You step into your full power by leading from your place of creative excitement. You have a catalyzing electric current to your aura, empowering and activating your everyone you meet with your authenticity. Rather than trying to force yourself into a mold, you are someone who must do things in your own innovative way. Your uniqueness is your signature of success by which others recognize you feel ready to be taught or lead by you. You are charming and have fresh perspectives to share with your authentic feelings and voice. You are the only Type who can successfully multi-task! Your deepest challenge is a lack of self-acceptance and feeling like you don't fit in. But frankly, you were never meant to fit in. You are here to be a teacher and leader. You have a chargeable energy signature that sometimes feels warm and inviting to others. Other times, it comes off as aloof or even cold. This is not something that you can control it happens naturally and is not a person to who you are connecting. Your magic is in showing up and letting creation love through you. The more willing you are to embrace and celebrate the messy process, the quicker you will reach the peace and the success you seek. You do not have to fix the world, and the more you can find play and balance in your own life, the better it will be for all concerned.

Your success comes from finding a system that you would love to master and share your pleasure with the world to be invited by the right students to teach what you have learned. It is not your job to convince anyone to work with you; rather, it is up to your students to prove their readiness to be guided by you. If possible, take the attitude that you learn by teaching and so you don'ts get stuck forever learning and never sharing your excellent knowledge and skills. Trust in the benevolent universe is always providing for you, and keep going deeper into mastering your skills. You are not here to work with everyone but to work with those that can truly see you and value what you have to offer. You are often the insightful one in the room, but not everyone will know this or be ready to welcome your insights and guidance. The mountain for you is not about working harder but about cultivating your inner mastery and teaching what you have learned for the benefit the community.
Affirmations for Pure Projectors are:
The universe provides. Go deeper into learning something. I do not have to be a master to start teaching what I have learned. I am not here to work hard. I can take care of that later. It's time for my nap. It's okey to need time away from people to rest and recover my energy.
INNOCENT = The Reflector

Are you a Reflector?
You are the most unusual and the least understood of all the Human Design types. Your sensitivity is your superpower. You are the only one of the types with nine open centers in your chart. Your complete energetic opens makes you highly empathic to all of the other types. You have access to deep intuitive, and psychic knowing through your clear access to the wisdom from higher realms of consciousness. You can hold space for healing without becoming emotionally or energetically drained. But, you can also easily become codependent on the people you spend the most time with or rely heavily on others for your physical or emotional safety. You can clearly see where others around you are not living their gifts and calling. You are often the wisest one in the room, but you are meant to guide those who can see you clearly and value your wisdom. Trust in a benevolent universe. Follow your inner guidance and timing. You may need weeks or even months to make correct decisions on the big things in life. Don't let your past disappoints you rob your life of delight and childlike wonder. Spend time in nature or away from other people regularly to ground and come back to yourself, and always listen to your inner song, and whenever it might lead you.
Even when the path is invisible to others.
You learn through experience and often.
