Hello Dear Human,

It’s been a while since I’ve shared anything new, not a poem. One of the many strange gifts to come out of COVID last year was bringing my old writing group back together across time-space and multiple countries via the wonders of Zoom.

Tonight was my turn to lead my group, which I started with my friends years ago when I lived in Sacramento and studying to become a yoga teacher. The group has expanded now to include new faces, but the raw power of these women is just as potent as ever if not more so.

We shared, wrote about writing, laughed, and smiled. I lead us in some guided hypnosis for becoming phenomenally confident writers. The only complaint I received was that I didn’t record the guided trance so my friends could listen to our meditation again!

I love to say that the person who leads is the one who gets to learn the most. Tonight I learned just how much Love and tenderness in these incredible women. And yes, each of us is a phenomenal and sexy writer.

At the end of class my friend Steph asked me to add the writing prompts to my blog so here they are.

Here are the writing prompts I shared today.
--What would my writing look like if I had complete confidence in myself as a writer?
--How will my life change when I have complete confidence in my skills and abilities as a phenomenal writer?
--What goals or hidden dreams do I have for publishing my work? Am I hiding these dreams from myself?
--What is it costing me not to live these dreams?
--Am I ready to take the next steps? And if not why not?
--Write three positive present tense affirmations about your writing.




Mine were:
My blog is killer badass and I cannot wait to read it.
I am a published author with a #1 best-selling book on Amazon.
I write easily and with complete confidence.
